This deck, located in Seward, NE, was completed in April of 2023. We designed and drew it up for fabrication in CAD. Once all the fabrication of pieces was complete, we assembled it in the shop to ensure proper fitment and correct any unforeseen issues before sending everything off to be powder coated. Once powder coated, we were ready for install. The assembly and install went so smoothly that something had to give, and that ended up being Eric’s ankle! Regardless, it remains one of our prouder accomplishments.
Ryan Naber Deck/Stairs/Railings
We designed, fabricated, and installed this deck for our customer/family member. The deck frame is free standing, which allowed us to keep the strain off of the structure of the house, and not require any penetration into the siding which keeps the siding in good condition. All the components were fabricated and painted in-shop. The railing sections are fabricated from smaller channel iron and ½ square bars and are bolted to clips welded to the posts for assembly. The idea for along the top side of the rail sections is to install a wood piece to add style and prevent you from burning your arms on the metal in the heat of summer. All the framing, including the stair tread frames were then covered with composite decking to complete the deck that won’t need redone in this lifetime!
