DC Lynch Carnival Ride Repair

Eric GWI Co-owner, assisted by Olsson Certified Weld Inspector Ryan Naber (Son of Gale & Brother of Eric), completed critical repairs on a DC Lynch carnival ride. The process included gouging out the crack with an oxy fuel torch. Due to the weld procedure called out and the outdoor conditions, Eric then Stick welded the structure back together. GWI successfully restored the structural integrity of the ride by adhering to the stringent cyclic stress repair standards. Enforced and ensured by Olsson’s ultrasonic testing guaranteeing safety and durability for all future riders!

Elevated Van Cargo Platform

This project presented some unique challenges for us. The customer requested an elevated storage platform in the rear of their van. Primarily for the transportation of show dogs, but also for transporting cakes that the customer baked for their personal business. All while retaining storage beneath the elevated platform. To secure our structural center column we used the latch assemblies from the rear seats that were no longer in use. This allows the lightweight aluminum assembly to be easily removed.
