Fricks Job Box

This job box, built for our friends at Fricks (concrete company based out of Texas), is custom built for their onsite project tool storage. Designed for durability and functionality, this robust box provides a secure and organized solution for storing tools and equipment. Ideal for keeping tools out of the elements and out of the reach of anyone with sticky fingers!

York County Hwy Sign Box

We took on the fabrication of a York County Highway sign box. The goal for the box being to hold all the different types of signs they might need to install or replace on any given day. All while having them carefully stored and readily accessible for the County employees. To keep costs down we avoided having to use drawer slides by forming sheet metal drawer guides with slots for each drawer. Our attention to detail and commitment to quality fabrication ensures that the sign box is both durable and practical for the customer’s needs.

Hitz Towing Aluminum Box

This box and box support frame were fabricated for Hitz Towing out of York, and is specially designed for their Landoll trailer. The box support frame is designed for easy install and removal should they ever need to take it off. While also giving something to sit on without interfering with the functionality of cable winch below, which in turn makes use of otherwise “dead space” on the trailer. We built the box out of 1/8” aluminum diamond plate and installed with vertical E tracks allowing for our custom-made brackets to be simply moved throughout the box.

Caramelizing Table for Preferred Popcorn

Preferred Popcorn/Snacks popping and bagging facility in Waco, NE called us after purchasing a Stainless-Steel table they intended to use for caramelizing popcorn. They needed ventilated grates fabricated for the bed of the table. Requirements included a certain amount of airflow from underneath to dry the caramel onto the popcorn and handles that dropped down into the grates when not in use. We cut and formed the bed pieces, then also designed and fabricated the SS funnel and end cap pieces that sit in the middle of the ends of the table. The pieces are removable allowing them to unload from either end of the table and cap off the other.

Kach Inv. Decorative Stairs & Railing

We fabricated these beautiful pan stairs with decorative guardrails in-shop before installing them at a historic building in Seward, NE. On average each of the panels took an hour to tig weld wire ends of the decorative wire mesh to the sq. tube panel framing. Once the meticulous fabrication on the railing was complete, we test fit the railings on the pan stair stringers. After ensuring proper assembly we moved on to the unique challenge of installing these stairs. For the installation we used an I-beam to span the 2nd floor opening that we used to run an electric hoist on. Each end of the I-beam rested on a 4-wheel cart allowing us to lift and maneuver the stair sections as needed during the installation process. The result of our efforts being a modern, durable solution that enhances both safety and accessibility all while preserving the building’s historic charm.

Railings at York Auditorium

When the York Auditorium underwent renovations in 2021, we had a couple different roles in the project. One of which was providing reinforcement on the underneath side of the roof deck for a new rooftop HVAC unit. The other more prominent aspect was the Shepard Hook style railings to bring the York Auditorium up to code. We fabricated, painted, and then meticulously installed them in every aisle throughout the auditorium. These railings not only ensure compliance with safety standards but also add a sleek, functional design element to the venue, all while providing secure support for patrons as they navigate the space.

Bottom Portion Bin Assembly

We resurrected this old Behlen bin by replacing the rusted-out bottom portion with new galvanized sheet metal, cut and formed in-shop by us. The galvanized material will provide excellent corrosion resistance, ensuring the bin will remain durable for years to come. In addition to fabricating the bin’s bottom, we also custom-formed the bottom transition ring, which smoothly connects the tapered bin to the freshly reworked (by us) slide gate opening, ensuring efficient & metered grain flow.

Bent Tractor & Combine Rims

Years ago, we saw a need for a specialty press designed for straightening/repairing bent tractor and combine rims. At which point Gale started designing our rim straightening press. Years later we are the go-to place for implement rim repair. Whether they are damaged in shipping or in an accident on the road or in the field. Farmers and Ag dealers all around the area bring them to us to get them straightened back out and put back into service. Saving them hundreds of dollars in comparison to what it would cost to replace the rim with a new one. We take pride in delivering high-quality, efficient solutions to keep your machinery operating at its best. We have even built similar press equipment for shops looking to get into the same type of repair work.

WYAD Payloader Tip Bucket

We fabricated this giant dump bucket for a customer’s payloader. The company that builds them was extremely backed up and due to the waiting period, they came to us for a quick turnaround so they could have the new bucket sooner. The finished product is capable of handling and dumping over 300 bushels of grain at once. This makes loading semi-trailers a snap! This project highlights our willingness to take on projects of any size/difficulty, as well as the capabilities of our employees, and shop equipment.

Aluminum Flatbed

If you’re looking to add functionality as well as styling to your flatbed truck, we can achieve both. Just like we did for this customer when we formed up “sideboards”, load dividers, and an end gate out of aluminum diamond plate. We also closed off the backside of the fuel filler neck area to protect the fuel filler hose from being smashed, cut, or ripped by whatever he/she hauls.
